JAPAN EXCHANGE AND TEACHING PROGRAM 2003-2004

The JET Program is a government-sponsored exchange that hires college graduates from the United States, as well as 38 other countries, to work in Japan as Assistant Language Teachers or Coordinators of International Relations for a period of one to three years.

Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs started the JET Program 15 years ago to promote international and cultural understanding among nations.  While the JET Program encourages applications from those interested in Asian Studies, successful participants also include people who have a sincere interest in learning about other cultures and can adapt well to different environments.

To obtain more information or application materials, please visit the JET website at http://www.jetprogramme.org.
